Orrick appoints Attilio Mazzilli as Co-Managing Partner for Italy

Orrick, one of the leading global law firms, has recently appointed Attilio Mazzilli as Co-Managing Partner for its Italian offices. Partner in charge of the Italian Tech Group and member of the International Technology Companies Group, he will work alongside Guido Testa, the current Managing Partner of Orrick Italy.

This appointment is part of Orrick’s strategic plan to further strengthen its tech sector: according to Pitchbook, the Group is the leading law firm in Europe in terms of number of deals in tech and venture capital sector. The firm has a department made up of over 150 highly integrated professionals in the ecosystem, who have in their portfolio 10 out of the top 20 tech companies, over 3000 high-growth tech companies globally, and hundreds of investors.

As a lawyer, consultant, and expert in Tech and Venture Capital, Attillio Mazzilli has been a partner at Orrick since 2015, focusing on cross-border M&A transactions, venture capital, private equity, and fintech operations. In his new role, he will be responsible for managing and expanding Orrick’s Italian offices, while also leading the firm’s efforts to further develop its tech sector.
