New historical stock market high for Terna. On 28 January 2020, the share price of this Group led by Luigi Ferraris soared to 6.460 euros per share. The company’s market capitalization record therefore leveled out at 12.9 billion euros.

Listed on the Stock Exchange since 2004, Terna is one of the main European energy transmission grid operators. Terna’s progress on the stock market has exceeded +7% from the start of the year. The Group is headed by Luigi Ferraris, who was appointed Chief Executive Officer and General Manager in 2017. Since then, the CEO and GM has driven growth based on sustainability and decarbonisation. This is also stated in the 2019-2023 Plan, which provides for investments of over 6 billion euros in the Italian electricity grid to ensure its increased safety, efficiency and sustainability. Priority will therefore be given to projects with reduced environmental impacts, by modernising existing infrastructures or building new underground or underwater cable configurations.

The dividend policy Plan launched in March 2019 by CEO and GM Luigi Ferraris provides for a dividend per share (DPS) CAGR of 7% from 2019 to 2021, compared to the 2018 dividend. A payout of 75%, with a guaranteed minimum dividend equal to the dividend for 2021 is envisaged for 2022 and 2023.
